Light switches

The table lamps in the Garden House are manually operated. In the kitchen next to the coffee machine, you will find the switch for the kitchen light. The lighting for the panel by the bed can be found behind the curtain next to the black shelving unit.

In the tin box on top of the dishwasher you will find detergent tabs.
Place a tab in the detergent compartment in the door.
Close the door and press the power button on the left side of the panel.
Use the ‘P button’ to select the ‘Rapid’ program.
The dishwasher will then start automatically.

To the left of the television you will see a white, flat box mounted on the wall. On this box, in the bottom right corner, there is a round button. When you press it, the system turns on and you can use the up and down arrows to set the desired temperature. At 18 degrees it already feels quite warm, as the Garden House is well insulated.

Under the television there is a small table with a picture frame on it. On this picture frame you will find the Wi-Fi code. This code is: Zwaluwenhof. It starts with a capital letter!

On Noord-Beveland, fiber optic internet is not yet available. We have the fastest Wi-Fi subscription currently available, but please do not expect fiber-optic speeds.

You will find two remote controls: a large one and a small one. First, take the large remote control and press the red power button in the top right corner. After that, you will only use this remote for volume control.

Then take the Apple Remote control. Press the MENU button and point it at the small black square box on the table. When a light turns on, the main menu will appear on the television.

The touch surface above the menu button is fully touch-sensitive: you swipe across it to navigate through the apps and tap it to select an app or programme. Netflix is available, also for our German guests. If you need any help, please ask us.

In the bathroom there is a wellness shower. First, make sure the doors are properly closed. Then switch on the panel using the power button and press the light and ventilation buttons.

Adjust the water to the desired temperature using the handheld showerhead. When you then turn the round control knob below the panel, the shower switches to wellness mode and water will flow from various jets.

The toilet is antique. To the right of the cistern you will see a chrome lever. Gently push this lever down to flush.
