A botanical pearl between the farmlands
An oasis of peace and natural beauty
Close to De Oosterschelde National Park
Enchanting light and beautiful views
The Zwaluwenhof is a botanical gem, surrounded by the Zeeland farmlands and the dike of the Oosterschelde National Park. The yard covers more than 4000 m2 with idyllic vistas, bushes, a fruit orchard, exuberant rose beds, old willows and beautiful views of the village of Kats and the Zeeland Bridge.
On arrival you will be welcomed by the owners Nico and Maaike van Heek, their sweet dog, two cats and the curious rooster with his three hens. The white peacocks regularly visit you.
The Zwaluwenhof is located on the southwest, so the garden is in the sun for a large part of the day. Did you know that this part of Zeeland has the most hours of sunshine in The Netherlands? With a refreshing breeze, the summers are almost subtropical.
You can park your car for free on our private parking. There is plenty of privacy in the yard. Both holidayhomes have a spacious terrace with both sun and shade.
